Roulette Explained

Roulette is played in a Casino with a numbered wheel a little white ball and a table with a numbered grid. Players use special chips purchased only at the roulette table. The reason for the special colored chips is that several people may bet on the same number and by giving each player different chips it is easy to tell the players chips apart.

The Roulette grid is made up into 3 parts numbers 1 to 12 in one part 13 to 24 in box 2 and 25 to 36 in box 3 and on top of box 1 is a spot with either a single green zero or a single green zero alongside a double green zero depending on if the roulette table you are playing on is an American or European Roulette table. The zeros are the biggest payoff on the table but only because they are the least likely to come up.

There is also the outside of the Roulette grid this is where the players may bet on if the ball will land on a red number a black number, an even or odd number or what of the 3 sections the winner will be in. these bets pay less then playing inside the grid but your chances of winning are greater.

Players place their Roulette bets as the dealer spins the wheel after a minute the dealer will drop the white ball in a groove in the wheel. When the ball drops into a numbered slot the winner is declared. Losing chips are removed and the winners are paid. Only after all winners chips are put on the table may the winners remove their winnings and players may start to bet on the next game.
